I take a look at the new KWA LM4 PTR gas blowback professional training rifle. We don't get to put any rounds through the gun but all I had to do is pull the trigger once to know I want to buy one. This is one of the most solidly built airsoft guns that I have ever held.

Channel Ambush (How To Enter)

Channel Ambush is a show where I critique your airsoft channel. On the show I will talk about what you are doing well and what you need some help with. I will give you suggestions as to what you can do to improve your channel, boost viewership and get more subs.

It is easy to enter yourself into Channel ambush. All you have to do is make a video describing the Who, What, Where, When and Why of your channel. Then post it to Youtube, name it Airsoft Ambush Entry (your channel name). Then leave it as a Video Comment on this video.

There is no need to sub or favorite and like the video, although it is always appreciated.

Shot on the Canon T2i with the 18 to 135mm kit lens. I used the sun as a back light and a white reflector as a key light. Audio was recorded on the Zoom H4n. The jacket was used as a flag to block the sunlight from hitting the lens.

In March of 1956 a Boeing B-47 Stratojet took off from MacDill Air Force Base in Florida for a non-stop flight to the African Nation of Morocco. Shortly before it was to rendezvous for its second midair refueling, this flight, commanded by Captain Robert Hodgin, disappeared, along with its cargo of nuclear weapons material. After over five decades without a trace, the CIA has now confirmed that the weapons have surfaced in the hands of the Army of Aden in Yemen. Their intention is to smuggle this weapon into the United States aboard a cargo ship and detonate it. A company of US Army Special Forces soldiers has been dispatched to Yemen. Their mission is to fight their way into the Army of Aden's (AOA) stronghold and secure the nuclear device. Once secured, they are to disarm it and transport it to awaiting gunships. Their secondary objective is to kill or capture as much of the AOA leadership as possible.

I had an epic weekend of guns and airsoft. I will be posting videos soon of our visit to the 2012 NRA show in St. Louis. Sunday I played airsoft at Bing with a bunch of friends. It was a great time but I focused on playing so the video may have suffered. I haven't had a chance to go through the footage yet.

Magpul (PTS) PDR AEG

My pick for the gun I can't live without is the Magpul PDR. This bullpup gun is modeled after a concept gun designed by Magpul Dynamics. The design took the standard NATO 5.56 magazine and placed in a small compact bullpup rifle suitable for use in confined spaces. This gun would meet the needs of any operator working from a vehicle. All of these great design concepts also work for use in airsoft. The Magpul PDR in an automatic electric gun that will run on a Lipo battery that is placed in the pistol grip. It takes High, mid and standard capacity M4 AEG magazines. The gun is short but still has a 267mm inner barrel. The gearbox fetchers a quick change spring. 

The release date is scheduled around Jun, July and should come in around $300.

I break my camera while playing airsoft at T.A.B.

This is video from my first time playing airsoft at Tactical Airsoft Base. TAB is an airsoft MOUT facility made from an old NIKE missile base. I caught the camera on something as I entered the building and pulled the tripod mount out of the bottom of my Kodak Playfull. I had to focus on the audio to tell the story because most of the video was unusable. It was a fun day and well worth the 4.5 hour drive.

I got off work at one in the afternoon and got a wild hair up my ass to go to TAB. I ran home and packed the truck. I drove to the Bing shot, got some BB's and waited for Micro Ninja to get out of school. We left around 3:40 and headed for TAB. I made Micro call mom to tell her that we would be gone all weekend.

T.A.B. Airsoft trip

Okay, now that I'm back I should let you know why I didn't make it to Bing this weekend. I got off work friday at 1:00 and got a wild hair up my ass. I packed the truck and waited for Micro Ninja to get out of school and we headed to T.A.B. near Kansas City. We met up with Kilroy of Team MAKO and had a great day of airsofting in TBS's MOUT facility. TAB is a decommissioned Nike Missile base, I think. It was so much fun. I am definitely going to organize a group to go some time this spring, maybe an AirsoftGeek OP.
